Controlling Blood Pressure Naturally

We all know that life style (diet, exercise, stress relief) can have a tremendous affect on blood pressure. Many people take medicines to control it;

Diuretics (water pills) to flush sodium out to lower BP

Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.   These allow blood vessels to widen.

Angiotensin II receptor blockers. These help blood vessels relax by blocking the action of angiotensin.

Beta blockers-. These work by blocking certain nerve and hormonal signals to the heart and blood vessels, thus lowering blood pressure
 

Calcium channel blockers. These prevent calcium from going into heart and blood vessel muscle cells, thus causing the cells to relax, which lowers blood pressure.
 

Renin inhibitors. Renin is an enzyme produced by your kidneys that starts a chain of chemical steps that increases blood pressure. (Due to a risk of serious complications, including stroke, you shouldn’t take aliskiren with ACE inhibitors or ARBs)

I just want you to see what some of the other side effects are. I will take 2 commonly prescribed medications, for example;

Norvasc side effects:
swelling of the hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
headache
upset stomach
stomach pain
dizziness or lightheadedness
drowsiness
excessive tiredness
flushing (feeling of warmth)
more frequent or more severe chest pain
rapid, pounding, or irregular heartbeat
fainting

Teveten side effects:
runny nose
sore throat
cough
excessive tiredness
stomach pain
joint pain
depression
swelling of the face, throat, tongue, lips, eyes, hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
hoarseness
difficulty breathing or swallowing
fainting
decreased sexual ability

This all disturbs me, when I know that blood pressure can be easily controlled naturally by using the Sai Sanjeevini pattern called ‘blood pressure high’. This is what I use and my blood pressure is completely normal, though I come from a family with high blood pressure- father, mother, sister. But not me.

For those of you whose pressure might be up, an interesting experiment might be to print the Sanjeevini pattern, place a glass of water in the middle, for 15 seconds, while saying a prayer and then drink the water daily for a week.
