No Quick Fix

One of my readers messaged me and asked how many days of swishing would it take to cure diabetes. Days?

If you don’t already know, swishing, or oil pulling is the ancient practice called Kavala Gandoosha, used in India to maintain good health for over 5,000 years. This practice is claimed to cure about 30 systemic diseases ranging from migraine headache to diabetes and asthma, along with preventing tooth decay, oral malodor, bleeding gums, dryness of throat, cracked lips, and for strengthening teeth, gums and the jaw, while whitening the teeth. It is a form of ‘complimentary’ medicine, and a powerfully detoxifying technique. Constipated? I challenge any of you to vigorously swish cold pressed sesame oil for 20 minutes, and then not go to the bathroom! Even my dentist does oil pulling every day, as a part of his morning routine. But don’t expect immediate result folks. Your teeth did not get yellow and loose overnight, nor do you just suddenly wake up one day with diabetes. It could take months…it is not a quick fix.

Likewise with juicing, honey and cinnamon, and even exercise, it takes time for the body to change, and like a flower that is going from bud to bloom, you may not be able to measure the progress moment to moment, or on a daily basis. For you that want a quick fix- there isn’t one!

The discipline of good daily health practices takes commitment. I cannot brag that I am consistent with ‘best health practices’ but I certainly know what they are, and am happy to give you a few tips about each;

The Natural Rhythm Of Recovery

You just know it when you see it. Consistency, accountability, healthy routines. They are the roots of recovery, and after witnessing chronic relapsing for over 8 years, I think I know when my daughter is finally the game changer, not the game player.

For those of you who think your addict loved one does not deserve another chance- think again. We never know when, which time, or in what environment the light bulb will go off and the addict suddenly transforms thoughts, actions, and attitude.

I love to see my daughter living a holistic life and making daily decisions of higher consciousness. This is a little hard to do as an addict, but seems to come quite naturally when you take the heroin out of the mix.

As an eclectic, she benefits from an array of modalities, activities, and practices in her life. I can’t tell you how much of each contributes to her success- only that in combination things are certainly working;

Daily oil pulling- Our whole family does this ancient Indian practice, which constitutes swishing cold pressed sesame oil every morning. The health benefits are numerous, not to mention cleaner straighter teeth and smaller gum pockets.

Fruit and vegetable juicing- barely a day goes by that we are not cutting and pressing a mix of celery, ginger, lemon, grapes, apples, carrots, and whatever berries we might have. Pure nutrients, immediate energy, and gives your digestion a rest.

Walk- now that we have 2 dogs, someone always needs a walk. She takes Xena for a face-paced longer walk, and Brandi for a short slow stroll.

Sai Sanjeevini prayer patterns- I broadcast a mega remedy daily, which includes everything from addiction to cancer prevention, to right conduct.

Sage Smudging- this is an American Native practice my daughter has adopted which involves purifying the home and thanking the universe and the inhabitants of the universe, and expressing gratitude while balancing the energy.

12 step meetings- Regardless of your recovery approach, everyone can benefit from meetings which can provide inspiration, support, and friendship. I don’t suggest relying on meetings exclusively-  they are a piece of the recovery puzzle.

Employment- going back to work after being in treatment on and off, can be a difficult transition to make. Keeping the flow, being on time, and earning, are now becoming part of the natural rhythm of recovery.

Very Big Year At

pendulumsIt’s been an amazing year for me at ‘thependulist’, now boasting 81 subscribers, 61,000 site visitors, and over 350,000 page views, letting me know there are a lot of ‘us’ out there. I thank you for coming to read about my experiences and experiments.

To re-cap the year, I used Sai Sanjeevini healing cards extensively for myself, my family, and for various groups in need such as flood, Ebloa, or earthquake victims. Between myself and my readers, we have collectively come up with some interesting and creative deliveries for this healing system including (but not limited to) charging up food, business cards, and even artwork! I had the opportunity to give the addiction remedy to my daughter, who reported benefit from it, and is also on a constant broadcast of a mega remedy designed just for her, and has been for over a year. She is currently successful and well rooted in her recovery although let me caution you that this was a long road, not a quick fix.

Another thing I have been using a lot of this year is digital radionics software. You can broadcast your intention on any given matter using an uploaded picture of the subject, or listen to a homeopathic healing tone- everything from aconite to zincum, or bach flower remedy tones, tones for frozen joints, herpes, headache, or asthma, and such an array of healing choices you would not believe.

Tarot, numerology, and astrology are 3 of the 4 most important systems that synchronize and become universal platform- the 4th being Kabbalah. I admit to being a novice in practicing these systems, but understand they each provide the code of the universe- interwoven as the fabric of my existence.

Daily health practices like oil pulling, honey and cinnamon and juicing became routine this year, with not one cold or flu!! And let us not forget, I balance all food and drinks upon entering the house, using my pendulum.

My goals for 2015 are to continue to offer natural and metaphysical solutions, especially in the recovery world, where addicts have very little in the way of choices. I would love to hear what is on the horizon for you. Please comment, or feel free to send me a private message via email.send-message-14538496

Oil Pulling- Rave Reviews

oil pulling2I have just been reading article after article about oil pulling or swishing, all with rave reviews.  This is a miraculous fix for everything from dental caries to cancer, and some say those who practice oil pulling can live to be 150 years old (if you’re into a lot of aging!).    READ…

Because of inherently deep pockets in my gums, lack of diligence in tooth care in earlier days, and lots of bad dentistry over the years, I have taken to oil pulling. One of the articles I read indicated the mouth was an example of your body, and if you had an unhealthy mouth, you’re in trouble. I have only been doing this practice consistently for about a year or more, but I can tell you I have had considerable benefit, and can only imagine what the longer, long term effects will be. Looking back on the year term, my teeth are whiter, gums whiter, and jaw pain lessened.  Cold pressed coconut oil is widely used, but my personal favorite is sesame oil.  For some reason I feel like it pulls the toxins better.

Here is some further testimony…

Results of an Oil pulling Survey by a newspaper in India:
In 1996, after continuous publication of a regular column for three years in their Sunday edition on OP, Andhra Jyoti, a Telugu daily newspaper conducted a survey to find out the types of diseases cured and the effectiveness of OP. Out of a total of 1041 respondents, 927 (89%) reported cure of one or more diseases. People who did not report any cure were 114 (11%).  The analysis indicated cure of the following types of chronic diseases:

• Pains in the body and problems pertaining to neck and above- 758 cases
• Allergy and respiratory problems of lungs like asthma, bronchitis etc- 191 cases
• Skin problems like pigmentation, itching, scars, black patches, and eczema etc -171 cases
• Digestive system-155 cases
• Constipation- 110 cases
• Arthritis and joint pains- 91 cases
• Heart disease and B.P- 74 cases
• Diabetes- 56 cases
• Piles- 27 cases
• Diseases pertaining to female reproductive system reported by women- 21 cases
• Diseases like Polio, Cancer, Leprosy, polycystic kidney, neural fibroma, paralysis etc -72

No question about it, oil pulling is becoming as much a part of my routine as my morning coffee…

Sai Sanjeevini Habits

sai6As I’ve told you before, there is more than one way to deliver healing from the Sai Sanjeevini system. Traditionally, you can charge up water or sugar pellets on a multiplication and broadcasting card with either one, or a variety of different healing patterns, and then either drink the water (or sip it throughout the day, as each sip is a dose), or let a few sugar pellets melt under your tongue, as you would homeopathy.

As time goes on, I continue to incorporate new ways to use this marvelous system of healing.

It’s a habit now, every time I purchase lotions and creams, to charge them with the Sai Sanjeevini combination called ‘skin’. Later, I thought to add the ’emergency’ combination, as well as ‘feet’, bringing almost instant (though temporary) relief to my sore feet at night.

Since I am a big fan of swishing (oil pulling) I now charge up my sesame oil with the combination called ‘teeth’, increasing the benefit of the oil pulling.

Our drinking water contains Sai Sanjeevini healing galore, including ‘blood pressure low’ and ‘kidney combination’. What I do is charge a piece of paper with the healing cards I just mentioned, and tape the paper to the bottle that goes on the water cooler, making every glass of water, every saucepan of rice, or pot of coffee chock full of the beautiful healing prayers of Sai Sanjeevini.

There are other ways to used small pieces of paper charged with Sai Sanjeevini prayers. I take patterns such as ‘sleep’, ‘snoring’, and ‘marital bliss’, and make a custom combination- then charge up a few pieces of paper which I place  in the pillowcase of my husband, and mine as well. This makes the sleeping experience even better. Or, if you are fighting a cold and can’t stay home in bed, you can charge a piece of paper up with all the cold and flu patterns, then put the paper in your pocket for a constant flow of healing relief all day.

Got kids who need healing? Snacks can be placed on the healing patterns, and so can apple juice or virtually anything. Pony tail holders for little girls make an amazing vehicle for delivering healing. pony tailJust charge up the pony tail holder with whatever healing patterns your child should need, fix their hair, and let the healing begin!

I keep a multiplication and broadcasting card out on our healing table, sending  healing prayers to my whole family and extended family and in-laws, and the world soliciting health, wealth, and happiness for us all.  Alison, Jimmie, and myself  also have individual mega remedies which I formulated and send to each of us in a continuous broadcast using the transfer chart, and refresh daily with a short prayer or chant.  I have sent prayers to aid the Colorado flood victims, kidnapped girls in Nigeria, and recently, a combination to prevent and heal Ebola or Hemorrhagic Fever, and one for peace and harmony in Syria.peace12

Vaccination Damage- Neurological Disorders

It still amazes me how many seemly intelligent people still vaccinate their children. There is no shortage of articles out there to educate folks, but they apparently just want to believe that vaccinations are a good choice.

Here is a list of vaccination-induced neurological disorders put out by Dr Mercola, in case you need it spelled out.

  • Encephalitis
  • Ataxia/Apraxia
  • Retardation
  • Meningitis Paralysis
  • Paralytis polio
  • Ms Gullain Barre Syndrome
  • Lupus
  • Hyperactivity – ADD, LD
  • Demyelinization diseases
  • Auto-immune Diseases Epilepsy
  • Convulsions – Seizures
  • Blindness
  • Deafness
  • SIDS
  • Epilepsy
  • Mental confusion – lowered IQ
  • Brain tumors (SV-40)

For a complete list of vaccine induced conditions, or what we call the vaccine injury alphabet, read

50 some odd years ago, children did not get vaccinated until school age, around 6 years of age. Back then, neurological disorders were quite uncommon. In these times, children are vaccinated at birth for HIB, and receive literally dozens of vaccinations by the age of 2, prior to the blood brain barrier becoming fully developed. It’s no secret- medical literature around the world turns up many articles linking vaccinations with neurological disorders. The on-slot of autism began with the massive vaccination programs or the 40’s and 50’s, and before that, autism was extremely rare or unheard of. At first, it only occurred in the children of wealthy parents, since vaccinations were a luxury (not free or government sponsored as they are today). Later autism became a disease of all classes (with government-sponsored vaccine programs).

The government admits the risks, and did you know that in order to pay for the vaccine injuries deaths, a surtax is levied on mandated vaccines.  When parents elect to have their children vaccinated, a portion of the money they spend on each vaccine goes into a congressional fund to compensate themm if their child is hurt or killed by the shot.

As wind strengthens the sapling, it is said that illness helps the immune system develop in youngsappling children. And folks, do not be bullied into thinking you must vaccinate. You can sign a waiver. Better to adopt daily health practices to avert and prevent disease and balance the mind, and have a sensible health care system to draw upon, for when you or your family does get sick. Here are some ‘best health practices’, good for all ages. I have mentioned them all before, but cannot stress enough, how important the discipline of good daily health practices is. This is the kind of neuro mapping you want to create. As Dr. Mario Martinez says “Repetition makes relevance.”

honeyHoney and cinnamon. Eat it by the spoonful, or drizzle it on apple slices for a healthy snack. This natural wonder addresses everything from bladder infection to pimples, and is great for boosting the immune system.

swishingSwishing or oil pulling also addresses an array of conditions, and is another way to daily, subtly, strengthen your immune system.

juicing (1)Juicing. The benefits of juicing are numerous, including maximizing the amount of nutrients absorbed into the body, detoxifying, and some who juice report less colds and flu.

sai6Sai Sanjeevini healing cards. I have the whole family on a continual broadcast- each gets a specially formulated mega remedy that I have put together, base on our individual health needs. Each mega remedy also contains several cold and flu prevention cards. We keep a transfer chart set up in ‘the healing room’ where prayers are refreshed daily. I can honestly say I have not had a cold or flu in the 2 years I have been doing this.

dogwalkWalk the dog- I’m not saying this prevents cancer or cures epilepsy, but it’s a little bit of cardio for both, bonding time with your dog, and a moment to touch base with your neighborhood. You will be surprised how calm and relaxed your dog is for the rest of the day, after a hearty morning walk and it set’s your metabolism too.

5 ritesFive rites– This is a short routine of Yoga-like poses, designed to open your vortexes which invites youth, vigor, and vitality.

set intentionSet your intentions for the day– Take a moment to mentally flip forward through your day in a positive and productive manor (and in warp speed)- this will keep you focused throughout the day, believe it or not.

kind1 Practice random acts of kindness– The joy of giving is unmatched by anything, and has both protection and healing powers beyond our comprehensions. kind2

A Flaw In The System

kicked outWhat happens if a client relapses while in residential treatment, or at sober living? If caught, they are expelled, of course. So now let me see if I understand this right- a client displays a symptom of his condition (that is, the addict is using drugs) but then as a result, treatment is halted and the client is cast to the wind. Even if the client admits to using- even if he or she volunteers the information- even if he or she wants to get back on track right away…too bad, they’re kicked out regardless- a brutal consequence if you ask me. Clearly, there’s a flaw in the system.

brokenheartMy heart breaks every time I get that dreaded call- “Sorry Madeleine, we had to kick Alison out for using drugs. She’s on a Greyhound bus back to Los Angeles- should arrive at the skid row station, about midnight.” Wow…are you kidding me?????????? What ever happened to ‘do no harm’, ’empathy’, and stuff like that?

ladderI am tired of seeing my daughter kicked down to the bottom rung of the ladder once again, based on this one taboo act. It’s a more than just a setback. But I hold no power in these areas. All I can do is encourage a life of balance, for both the addict and the addict’s mom, and suggest incorporating the following into your lives, to much benefit:

  • Daily health practices such as juicing, oil pulling (swishing), and 5 rites
  • For cravings, use the homeopathic remedies Avena sativa, Tobaccum, or Nux vomica. You may dowse for the best pick, if you are not sure what to use.
  • Keep busy, preferably in a giving capacity. Doing for others fills idle time and has great rewards…try it sometime.
  • Study astrology and numerology, which are amazing tools for getting to know yourself.
  • Make a Sai Sanjeevini mega remedy to include patterns for addiction, right conduct, and dignified housing, and charge your drinking water with it for a dose every time you drink water or cook rice or pasta.

There is no cure all for addiction and even with all the marvelous healing tools we have, in the end, it takes the will of the addict, to finally overcome.overcome

From Boring To Bizarre

I promised you answers to your questions (no matter how boring or bizarre) and here they are…

can one continue the usage of cinnamon and honey after a miscarriage?         yes

can cinnamon and honey be taken by kidney stone patient?

alcoholismBach flower remedy for alcoholism – I do not know of one nor could I find one that fits after researching, but I can recommend several homeopathic solutions, as well as the grape diet!

Chestnut bud for autistic children Clematis, Madia, Violet, Snapdragon, and Impatiens have been able to help with a many of the negative behaviors that go with autism, whereas Chestnut Bud, Aspen, Cerato, Heather, and Chicory have been known to help schizophrenia. Must read

using Ferrum phos. after knee surgery– Use this both 2 days before and and a few days after surgery for reducing inflammation in the early stages as well as the chance of soreness or redness after any surgery. It is a remedy recommended for incision type wounds and soft tissue wounds. I recently took it 2 days before dental surgery (and after along with Arnica), and the doctor reported hardly any blood during surgery, and I also had an speedy and successful recovery.

oil pulling shrinks gum pockets – Most definitely. Daily oil pulling, or kavala gandoosha, has significantly reduced my gum pockets, and also cleaned and straightened my teeth somewhat. I swish 6 out of every 7 days and consider it a vital part of my ‘best health practices’.

list of homeopathic medicines for gall bladder polyps– Chelidonium and Lycopodium are the number one remedies for gall bladder, and here is an entire gall bladder health protocol

Jani Schofield Munchhausen by proxy – Are you kidding me? I am frequently asked this question, and always refer folks back to this article but in a nutshell, THE SHOE DOES NOT FIT.shoe11

Flaws In The 12 Step Programs

relapseI don’t want to be a downer folks, but 95% of the programs out there are 12 step, and 95% of the clients who use the 12 step approach, relapse, because the system is flawed. This is nothing new.

What’s wrong with 12 step?

  • Admitting you are powerless- What happened to empowering yourself? (what a contradiction)
  • The 30 day treatment set up- How can an addict be released from treatment in 21 to 28 days? That is barely enough time to properly detox much less apply enough meaningful treatment. The client is bound to relapse (and there is a lot of money to be made by the facilities with this syndrome, too).
  •  Affirming you are an addict- As it was explained to me once; If you get up every day and say you are an addict, you will become one (even if you were not one before). The power of the word can not be underestimated.
  • Denying treatment and other dyer consequences if relapse occurs, with being kicked out of the residential program, sober living, or your home, the most common.
  • Complete and total abstinence for your life time. Only a small handful can ever achieve this tall order.

Now that I have been introduced to harm reduction, I see the way.

  • Teach moderation or replacement medication, and less risky behavior. We always say it’s the behavior, not the drugs.
  • Attempt to reduce the negative consequences related to the drug use. Do not concentrate solely on the amount of use.
  • If relapse occurs you are not dismissed from treatment but instead the focus is on how to re-initiate and re-commit to treatment. Treatment should not be denied to any addict who agrees to go, simply for displaying the vary symptoms of the ‘disease.’
  • Make only positive affirmations.  If some kind of an affirmation must be made, how about something like “Hi I’m Madeleine, and I am striving toward unity and cosmic conscientiousness- will you join me in my endeavors?”

If you lean toward harm reduction, do your homework before you engage in, or send someone to treatment.  There are many seemingly compassionate and hip therapists out there who might still engage in old punitive thinking, and either;

1.believe that after several relapses,  the addict should be cut off from treatment and family, or

2.when reflecting on the ensuing legal complications addicts face, suggest  ‘maybe they should go to jail’.

When you hear either of these 2 things, RUN. No treatment should ever be denied someone who is willing to go, and nothing good happens in jail- only bad things.  The ‘scared straight’ approach does not work, and very rarely is a person transformed in jail.  That is the empirical evidence, like it or not. and if I must, when you breakdown the word therapist, you get ‘ the rapist’.

Let us not forget to support any treatment program with Sai Sanjeevini prayer patterns for addiction, homeopathy, Bach flower remedies, and wholesome daily health practices such as  oil pulling, juicing, and exercise.swishexercise juicing (1)

Natural Protocol For Brodie’s Abscess

toothacheIt has finally come to light what’s been causing  discomfort in my teeth and jaw area, and preventing my 3 piece lower back bridge, from staying on. Over 10 years ago I had root canals in the 2 outside teeth, of the 3 teeth involved, and the center tooth of the 3 had been previously shattered eating a Jolly Rancher, and had a one piece post and tooth set, which was later rejected by my mouth. Then came the 3 piece bridge, but about 2 years ago it loosened came off, and several attempts to keep it well secured and functional, failed, and I also felt a tenderness in my jaw, of which xrays showed nothing. This year, I have actually been walking around with loose bridge work. Finally about 2 weeks ago, the whole assembly, including some screw that had been installed in the root of the rear tooth, came out, followed by a severely infected area, probably from the metal screw ripping out, and I can actually see bubble like abscesses around and on the side of the tooth area, and the tenderness in the jaw is much worse. When I went to my digital radionics tones, to listen to ‘abscess’, I discovered a tone called ‘Brodie’s abscess’, looked it up, and the picture of my condition became clear. I have had an abscess festering in my jaw since the root canal 10 years ago accounting for years of problems keeping bridge work in my mouth, and God knows what other health problems I have. This type of abscess can settle in any boney area of the body, often found in the femur bone, and is very difficult to heal.

Here is the protocol I put together based on, experience, research, and professional advise.

  • Homeopathic Silcea and Hepar Sulf to push out the puss, and Hecla Lava (which is made from the lava of Mt St Helens, and when you think of the action of a volcano, that is exactly what I am trying to achieve).
  • Calendula tincture mixed with a little water used as a mouthwash- hold it in the mouth for a few minutes. It is most extraordinary and can heal GANGRENE!
  • Lauricidin- It’s a natural antibiotic made from coconut milk. I hear it kills everything!
  • Oregano oil- anti bacterial and anti viral- I paint it right on the affected areas, and also take a few drops in juice daily.
  • Enzymes- this is quite important to break through the biofilm and slime, and let the bacteria out. Interfase makes a good one.
  • Radionic tone for Brodie’s abscess- If you have the digital radionics software you can listen to this tone daily, until abscess is completely gone. This could take months, so hunker down.

Having dowsed to determine if there is any rotten tooth matter that would need to be removed, and thankfully receiving a ‘NO’,  I have the confidence to continue my program, and will keep you posted on any changes, good or bad.good or badAnd as always, your comments are invited.
