An Injustice To One, Is An In justice To All

An injustice to one, is an injustice to all, and I want to address an intolerable injustice- factory farming.

It is a modern technique to maximize profits in the livestock industry. This is a disgusting subject and I have beeen aware of it for over 30 years-  and it is still going on- it’s hard for me to go into detail about it because it breaks my heart so bad, but here goes…

They take chickens and stuff them into cages so tight they can’t even spread their wings (each chicken gets about the size of a folded newspaper). Then they burn the beaks off to avoid any damaged flesh received from fighting (I’d fight too in such close quarters). That’s how they live until slaughtered- stacked, probably in some warehouse.

The pigs are kept in gestation crates, so small, poor piggie cannot turn around and scratch her ass- stacked one on top of the other, with the shit falling in between, as a breeding machine. Pigs are tortured by sadistic humans who work in the slaughter houses. (That goes for all animals in all slaughter houses- a person would have to be some kind of ‘off’ to work in one of those in the first place, eh?)

All the crystals, charts, and remedies cannot stop this madness nor would I know how to broadcast this all away or how to formulate a question to dowse for. It is a sad state of affairs and a deplorable condition being endured by our treasured animals.  I have no metaphysical answer as of now. But we can do something… strive for selflessness instead of selfishness, and:

• eat less meat in general
• boycott pork all together (substitute bacon with turkey bacon)
• buy only cage free eggs
• buy organic whenever possible- a higher conscious group is producing organic foods, period
• chat with your meat man and find out where the meat comes from- then check out the meat source with PETA to make sure it isn’t on the no-no list. (PETA is a great source for anything animal)
•educate and disseminate- raise the consciousness of your children/your village-  go to www.change.org and sign dozens of relevant petitions, easily, and be sure to sign Domino’s pizza- stop making pigs suffer.

I buy chicken that is hormone and antibiotic free, and only fish that is wild caught- never farmed.  Try New Zealand lamb instead of beef because the animals graze in beautiful fields living life as they should, and I have heard nothing of slaughterhouse nightmares from over there. (Maybe Americans are extra sick). I barely eat beef anymore.

I am not a vegan, a fanatic, nor do I spray paint fur coats (though I admire those who do!). I just know society has gone to cruel and inhumane means to raise and kill animals, in the name of food and profits. Gandhi said we should judge a society on how they treat their animals- he had it right, and I don’t think there are many societies that can measure up these days. We are the custodians of the earth, but is this any way to care for the Father’s things? I think not…

The Empirical Evidence Of Our Hands

How do we know that Capricorns are slow and methodical, or that red is a good color to wear in winter to prevent colds? Empirical evidence…knowledge acquired by means of observation or experimentation.

empiricalcycleLong ago when when the earth was only sparsely populated with no television, people observed and recorded, observed and recorded, and we still do this as a primary means of gathering information today.

In identifying your hand type, again, we have empirical evidence that describes who we are, by the characteristics of our hand, meaning shape of hand, nails, fingers, amount of hair, condition of skin, etc. It is easy to verify and validate hand reading, just by looking at the 7 hand types and matching up your shape and personal attributes to what you see. You will be surprised at the accuracy of this system.

The hands can be categorized in 5 elemental hand shapes. They are air, fire, water, earth and ether hands, and I am leaving this for another article. There are also 7 basic hand types in palmistry, which is what I will be talking about today.

Since I like to get right to the point, here are the 7 hand types, and a little about the person attached to each hand.

ahandAnimal hand- hairy and unattractive, looking much like it belonged to a jungle animal. These people are easy to anger and usually have a low IQ.

square handSquare or working hand- the hand is actually a square shape, usually a little small in relation to the body. They are practical, disciplined people, loyal and consistent.

handpPhilosophical hands- long thin bony fingers, with delicate skin. God, the world, the fate of the human race, and life and death are your center of thoughts. Deep thinkers- could be a saint, could be a beggar.

handplPlane hand- these people have plane fingers who’s tips spread. This hand belongs to a strong body and the palm is wide near fingers. Active, clever, brave. Mostly found in Western countries.

hndsSkillful hand- hand is wide from the wrist, and thin near the fingers. The fingers are pointed like pencils. This hand basically belongs to the artists and skillful personalities. They people do not plan and are not consistent.

handfFemale hand- They have delicate, thin, flower like hands, with beautiful skin, and small and elastic fingers, with the palms having thin pretty lines, and brings the female characteristics into that person. They are emotional and sensitive. May be suicidal, or dabble in black magic.

Mixed hand- a mix of the different hand types and characteristics accordingly. These folks are friendly, flexible, versatile.

Which one are you?

Your Questions, My Answers

questionsEvery so often I use your internet search terms to answer many of the toes1health questions you all have. This keeps me on my toes and up to date on the latest information and alternative health ‘best practices’, and gives you the information you have been looking for!

Cell salts for foot fungus– cell salts are equilibrium remedies used to balance excess and deficiency, but in this case is not the remedy.  I suggest;

  • Disinfect inside shoes with baking soda.
  • Make a remedy water of Sai Sanjeevini anti-fungal patterns sip frequently during the day.
  • Drink a few drops of oregano oil in a little orange juice daily. This kills the fungus from the inside.
  • Soak feet in cinnamon and water- cinnamon slows the growth of fungus. You may also soak in vinegar and tea tree oil water.
  • Wear open shoes as much as possible and keep feet dry.
  • Eat lots of garlic- it has wonderful anti-fungal properties.

janiJani Schofield– Jani Schofield and her brother Bodhi, are indeed the most popular subjects I receive inquiries about. Jani is one of the youngest schizophrenic children ever diagnosed, and her brother Bodhi, who is autistic, may also suffer from schizophrenia. I, like a lot of the rest of the world, have fallen in love with this young lady, and try to keep tabs on her progress. From what I read, she is progressing well in a loving and nurturing environment, goes to school several times a week, and is still on medication.

Cinnamon bad breath– Actually, a teaspoon a honey sprinkled with cinnamon will freshen your mouth and help combat bad breath for hours! That is one of many many fantastic honey and cinnamon cures.

last-rites

Who got medically hexed– a man who died 15 minutes after accidentally being given his last rites, was medically hexed. Angelina Jolie was medically hexed because she had both breasts removed in anticipation of cancer. Now who does that?

heroinWhat is ‘3 day heroin rule‘- I am often asked about this and give the answer with mixed emotions. while in no way do I  condone it’s use, I see the ‘3 day heroin rule’ as a way for the heroin user to regulate his use, and avoid sickness or addiction, which is clearly harm reduction. The 3 day heroin rule says never use for more than 3 days in a row, to avoid addiction, but that has been updated to an even surer method of not being sick and not getting addicted called the 8/72 rule- you can use up to 8 hours in any 72 hour period. This translates into using just twice a week (for 8 hours each stick1time) so if you keep your dose reasonably low, you will never get sick and should have a high level of function ability. And yes, the 8/72 rule works, if you can stick  to the program, that is.

A Flaw In The System

kicked outWhat happens if a client relapses while in residential treatment, or at sober living? If caught, they are expelled, of course. So now let me see if I understand this right- a client displays a symptom of his condition (that is, the addict is using drugs) but then as a result, treatment is halted and the client is cast to the wind. Even if the client admits to using- even if he or she volunteers the information- even if he or she wants to get back on track right away…too bad, they’re kicked out regardless- a brutal consequence if you ask me. Clearly, there’s a flaw in the system.

brokenheartMy heart breaks every time I get that dreaded call- “Sorry Madeleine, we had to kick Alison out for using drugs. She’s on a Greyhound bus back to Los Angeles- should arrive at the skid row station, about midnight.” Wow…are you kidding me?????????? What ever happened to ‘do no harm’, ’empathy’, and stuff like that?

ladderI am tired of seeing my daughter kicked down to the bottom rung of the ladder once again, based on this one taboo act. It’s a more than just a setback. But I hold no power in these areas. All I can do is encourage a life of balance, for both the addict and the addict’s mom, and suggest incorporating the following into your lives, to much benefit:

  • Daily health practices such as juicing, oil pulling (swishing), and 5 rites
  • For cravings, use the homeopathic remedies Avena sativa, Tobaccum, or Nux vomica. You may dowse for the best pick, if you are not sure what to use.
  • Keep busy, preferably in a giving capacity. Doing for others fills idle time and has great rewards…try it sometime.
  • Study astrology and numerology, which are amazing tools for getting to know yourself.
  • Make a Sai Sanjeevini mega remedy to include patterns for addiction, right conduct, and dignified housing, and charge your drinking water with it for a dose every time you drink water or cook rice or pasta.

There is no cure all for addiction and even with all the marvelous healing tools we have, in the end, it takes the will of the addict, to finally overcome.overcome

Turning Tragedy Into A Positive

adversityWe are all faced with adversity at one time or another in our lives. It could be our own issue, or that of a loved one, neighbor, or even that of a stranger. The thread that connects us makes his issue your issue, her issue my issue, and so forth.

A boy grew up and became a doctor- a cancer specialist. He was inspired to live his life trying to save young patients like his sister, who, unfortunately didn’t make it. All brothers of cancer victims don’t necessarily become doctors. Some become beggars and some become thieves.

A woman has dedicated her life teaching parents how to keep their kids safe from abduction, because she lost her own little girl to a madman who kidnapped and killed the child. If this woman never recovered from the trauma I wouldn’t blame her, but no, she became a spokeswoman and advocate. The strength rises out of the pain, which becomes determination, and finally, closure.

But some cave when their backs are against the wall. Did you ever make a mess of things, then further screw it up by running, lying, or accusing? Or did you crumble from a bad situation instead of standing tall? I remember a neighbor couple who lived down the street when I was growing up- the husband was wheelchair bound, had made a servant out of his wife, and had adopted a mean and nasty way about him which he justified by his disability. What a contrast compared to my neighbor lady in Pittsburgh that walked lady1with a smile (at well over the age of 80) a good 3 miles in the sun, rain, or bitter cold, every day, to get to the store and haul her groceries home. She did this for years on end until suddenly, I didn’t see her anymore.

Some people get ill, and make a life style out of it, loving the attention and sympathy and service they get from it, perhaps even if on a sub-conscious level. Or on the other hand, a bought of illness may awaken you to heal, adopt a healthy life style and disseminate rather than deteriorate.

givingSo you can flip it- turn a tragedy into an positive. You can let your life circumstances beat you down, or you can make every challenge you face become a chance to bestow. Weather it be rejection, death or illness, financial or material loss, prison, or war, ‘giving’, in one way or another, has always been a healing solution.

Happy Birthday Sis

gwen7Gwen is my sister of sisters- a one of a kind modern woman rooted in family, education, and progressive ideas. Our chemistry was immediate from the day we met, and our bond still remains rock solid. This is not always the case with family, but this is how it is with Gwen.

She embraces my life style without judgement, gives me much respect, and cheers for my daughter with pure love.                                                                                                gwen8
